A graduate of the Directing Department of the Polish National Film School in Lodz (2004-2009). The Ministry of Culture scholarship holder, member of the Polish Film Academy and Documentary Directors Guild.

His feature debut “A Night in the Kindergarten”  premiered on Netflix in 2022. He is also a director of two episodes of a new drama series “Glitter” produced for Netflix and tv series “The Stroke” (prod. Viaplay).

His documentary debut “52 Percent” (TVP, 2007) received the Golden Hobby Horse award at 47th Cracow Film Festival and visited multiple most important film festivals in the world. Since then he directed such documentaries as: “Girls” (TVP, 2009), “Lovers” (HBO, 2010), feature doc/animation “Zdzisław Pacak” as a part of the “Wartime portraits” series (TVP, 2014). His long documentary “Monk of the Sea” was premiered in 2016 at 69. Locarno Film Festival in the Semaine de la Critique section. At the moment he’s been working on another documentary project “Current” produced by Koi Studio and presented at HOT Docs 2022.

For the past few years he’s been developing his documentary skills by directing such documentary series as the portraits of the oustanding polish athletes – “Life on a Podium” (Canal+ Discovery, 2016-2018), story about young officer cadets “Recruits” (Canal+ 2019), “Kamil Stoch – My story” (Eurosport, Discovery, 2018) – a series broadcast in 92 countries, as well as a documentary series about western superstars concerts in the Polish People’s Republic: “The Rhytm of Freedom” (Canal+ 2020).
