Director, animator, and graduate of the National Film School in Łódź (PWSFTviT) and the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology (PJATK). She made her debut with the highly acclaimed feature documentary BOYLESQUE (2022), which premiered at HotDocs in Toronto (where the film and the director were honored with the Best Emerging Director award). BOYLESQUE also won the Krakow Film Festival in 2022.

She has directed a short film commissioned by ING Bank, titled “These Ends of the World Are Our 5 Minutes,” which tells the story of the Kasperczyk Brothers. Film  launched a campaign focused on the mental health of young people.

Bogna’s talents extend beyond documentary filmmaking; she has a deep passion for narrative fiction. She also works as a director of animation and VR projects. She has worked on many large commercial projects for international brands, including Universal, Sony, Adidas, Red Bull, Dell, and Netflix.

Beyond filmmaking, Bogna is also involved in therapy and education, focusing on self-awareness and building inner trust. This background brings a unique depth to her work, helping her connect easily with both protagonists and actors, and fostering a safe, collaborative atmosphere on set.
