Director Roman Przylipiak joined Bluebird Artist Management. He studied Photography at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk and Graphic Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. He worked as art and creative director in ad agencies such as Young & Rubicam Poland. After few years he completely changed his career path and became a graduate of Łódź Film School.
He started directing short forms such as music videos, experimental movies, short features. Soon the time came to start working on some longer features on one side, and commercials on the other. He developed his feature debut „Jerry” during a Master Class in Wajda’s School under the artistic supervision of Paweł Pawlikowski. The film received multiple awards in Poland and abroad, e.g. best directing at the Open Place Film Festival in Latvia. At the same time he is still evolving in the commercial field. Roman directs films for such clients as CD Project – the Witcher III trailer, Multikino, Biedronka, Reiffeisen Polbank, Polpharma, PGNiG, Bosch, Siemens, PhytoPharm, Nivea.
Now, Roman is working on a full-lenth feature film „Scanner”. He is also running workshops on the basics of directing at the University of Gdańsk and „The Art of Choice” workshop co-oranized by Camerimage Festival.
