During the 38th Warsaw Film Festival, which starts on October 14th, Bluebird Artists Management has exceptionally strong representation.
Film “Goldilocks and the Glorious Losers” directed by Rasto Boros with cinematography by Tomek Wierzbicki will premiere in the Free Spirit competition.
Tomek Wierzbicki is a graduate of the Cinematography Department of the Film School in Łódź. He is the cinematographer of many recognized short films – including “Victoria” by Karolina Porcari, “The Turtle Cave” by Klaudia Folga and “Bites” by Helena Oborska.
Tomek is also professionally associated with Slovakia where he made his feature debut – film “Mohyla” with Slovak director Andrej Kolencik. “Goldilocks and the Glorious Losers” is his second feature film.
Festival attendants will also have probably last opportunity this year to watch awarded short films made by our artists: “Dead Marriage” (dir. Michał Toczek), with set design by Kasia Tomczyk, a documentary “Moody” (dir. Karolina Karwan, Tomasz Retter) edited by Patrycja Piróg and a short fiction film “Victoria” directed by Karolina Porcari, filmed by Tomek Wierzbicki – all of them selected for Best Polish Short Films section.
The Warsaw Film Festival has a prestigious category A – what means that all winners can apply for an Oscar nomination.
