Weronika Bystrowska, a graduate of the Warsaw Film School. Despite her young age, she already boasts experience in both feature forms and commercials.

She is the co-editor of the series “Control” (dir. N.Parzymies, prod. Player Original), which turned from a student etude into an international hit and was watched by more than 60 million viewers worldwide. Subsequent seasons were produced by Player and made their way, alone among domestic productions, to the Discovery+ platform.

The last short film she worked on, ,,Moje Stare” (dir. Natasza Parzymies, prod. Warszawska Szkoła FIlmowa) premiered at the Oscar-qualifying Krakow Film Festival, in both the Polish and international competitions. The film starred Dorota Pomykała and Dorota Stalińska, and the music was composed by Ralph Kaminski.

As she says, each story is a new challenge for her, and what she values most in her work is the lack of repetition, honesty and relationships with people. Before taking up editing, she successfully represented Poland in the national karate team for many years, which made fierce determination in her blood.
