Jakub Sztuk, a computer science engineer successfully conquering the world of the cinematic image. His degree in technology combined with his immense talent allows him to combine new technologies with the classic assumptions of film style and form in an unusual way. His passion for technological solutions such as the Unreal Engine or Virtual Production continues to push him to develop in this field – he can boast international Arri or Red Digital Cinema certificates. He is a cinematographer with extensive post-production experience and loves working with high speed cameras or motion control robots, which he often uses in his work on commercials.
He has an award-winning feature film debut entitled “Elephant”. “Elephant”, directed by Kamil Krawczycki. Among other awards, the film won the main prize in the Micro Budget Film Competition at the Polish Film Festival in Gdynia. In 2017, it won the award for best cinematography at the Yach Film Festival, the “DISCOVERING EYE AWARD FOR YOUNG FILMMAKERS” at the Polish Film Festival in America, and the award for music video in the DANCE/ELECTRONIC category for the song Catz n’ Dogz feat. Baasch.
