Tomasz is a graduate from the Cinematography Department of Łódź Film School. He works as a cinematographer for feature films and adverts. As film school student he has made few docs which were shown at festivals in Poland and worldwide (Palm Spring Film Festival, Angers Film Festival, Tampere Film Festival, Camerimage, Polish Film Festival in Gdynia, Krakow Film Festival, Warsaw Film Festival). At the 59th Krakow Film Festival he was awarded for the best cinematography by Association of Polish Cinematographers.
His portfolio includes films for brands such as Vogue Polska, Diverse, the Communication Without Barriers Foundation, and Sexedpl. The Armani / Laboratorio project was created with the director Luca Guadagnino (“Tamte dni, Tamte noce”, “Suspiria”).
Tomek works a lot with slovakian filmmakers. In 2019 he has made his feature debut “Mohyla” with Slovak director Andrej Kolencik. His biggest feature project so far is however film by Rastislav Boroš “Scarecrows Do Not Scare The Ravens” which premiere is scheduled for 2021.
In 2021 he worked as a camera operator with Martin Štrba (Charlatan, Kill Sekala) on Iveta Grofova’s feature entry. From 2020 Tomek is a member of ASK – the Slovak Society of Cinematographers.
