A graduate of the Cinematography Department at Łódź Film School. Szymon works as a cinematographer for feature films and music videos.

He worked with the two-time Oscar winner Neil Corbould and nominated for the same award Dorota Kobiela, with whom he created the film “Chłopi” (The Peasants).

Szymon collaborated with Platige Image where he gained experience in post-production and special effects. As a freelancer he supervised special effects for a high-budget series “Kingdoms of Fire”.

He was the cinematographer for internationally award-winning clip “KILO” of duo Rysy, directed by Filip Załuska. In 2019 his work for another music video –  Żurkowski’s “Ciemność”- was awarded by the Panavision at “Papaya Young Directors” competition.

Szymon is currently working on the feature-length documentary “Man of Marble” (produced by HBO), which he is also directing, and the film “A Winter’s Journey” by Alex Helfrecht starring by John Malkovich.
